We took the time to explain some key points when shopping for CBD & answer some of our customers most frequently asked questions. If there is something you would like to know that isn’t discussed here, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What is CBD? Where does it come from?
CBD is a compound that interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Research has determined that its medicinal benefits are wide-ranging. Similar to caffeine, a natural compound found in coffee, tea, and cocoa, Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in hemp plants. Equipped with modern testing labs and relatively new breeding techniques, growers have been able to target certain phenotypes with high concentrations of CBD (and low THC) creating an entirely new purpose for hemp cultivation.
How do I know which CBD product is right for me? How much should I use?
CBD products come in a variety of applications; topical, inhalable, and oral, plus an array of edible by-products. Some important considerations in choosing a CBD product are method of consumption, the degree of potency, and overall effectiveness toward the desired outcome. The three most efficient means of internal delivery of CBD to the body is through inhalation (smoking) hemp flower, oral consumption of CBD-infused oils, and topical application to the skin. Many individuals prefer to start with a lower dose of 10mg of CBD oil and gradually increase the dosage to measure the desired effectiveness. It is best to work with a medical practitioner to determine the proper amount. Unlike pain-relievers and anxiety medication that have dosage restrictions, CBD consumption is risk-free and has no adverse side effects, allowing for safe experimentation.
How does CBD affect my body? Does CBD have any negative side effects?
Our bodies are equipped with an endocannabinoid system that naturally produces the same non-chemical cannabinoids on a very small scale. As a result, our endocannabinoid system recognizes and responds to outside cannabinoid stimulation from CBD and THC compounds. Some of these responses are immune-regulation, energy level regulation, pain mitigation, and resistance to adverse high-stress scenarios. Integrating a CBD into your wellness regime can help induce a state of homeostasis. While there are no health risks associated with taking CBD, it can cause complications if taken with medications such as blood thinners and sedative narcotics. It is important to consult your medical practitioner before integrating CBD into your daily routine.
What are cannabinoids and terpenes? What role do they play in my CBD experience?
Terpenes are compounds found in the hemp plant. They work in conjunction with other cannabinoids such as CBD. Terpenes have their own well documented and researched effects. Not only do they determine whether a particular cultivar of hemp has uplifting or sedative effects, but they also give the plant additional therapeutic properties. Through careful practice and research, we have created our own blend of terpenes to provide specific effects.
Can I take CBD and still pass a drug test?

This ultimately comes down to the type of CBD product you are using and how often you are using it. If you are taking a “full spectrum” product (contains THC) and using this product daily, it is likely that the THC will build up in time and result in a positive drug test. It is important to do your own research and find the CBD product with the right cannabinoid profile for you + your lifestyle.

Are your products organic? Are they pesticide free? Chemical free?

Our products are crafted with 90% organic ingredients and our cultivation methods include only organic and Full-Bio nutrients and pest control. While our farm is not yet “certified” organic, we are striving to become a fully organic company.

Our first priority is the health of our soil. Our focus is maintaining the balance of its mineral content by applying the correct amount of organic amendments and enlisting the help of beneficial microorganisms. We refuse to use salt-based fertilizers or chemical pesticides. We opt instead to utilize insects such as earthworms, lacewings, and pirate bugs to mitigate pests. In short, if it requires a mask to administer it, we won’t use it. Additionally, we implement all-natural farming techniques in cultivating our indoor and sun grown flowers.

What is the difference between “Select” and “Classic” flower?

Our “Select” flower is grown indoors and our “Classic” sun-grown flower is grown outdoors. The biggest difference between these variants is the overall bud appearance and individual terpene profile. Both cultivations typically have very similar potency test results. However, indoor grown hemp flower allows more control over all the environmental factors, resulting in a more consistent product. Both are good choices; it really comes down to preference.

Your 2:1 Caramels have 10mg of THC in them, how is this legal?

This is one of our favorite questions because it is SUCH a learning opportunity. The 2018 Farm Bill states that in order for a CBD product to be legally sold, it must contain less than .3% THC by weight. Since our caramels weigh about 14 grams, you could fit quite a bit of THC in there and still be compliant. To give you a better idea, 10mg may sound like a lot, but it’s only about .06%.

All of our products go through a strict screening process before being allowed on our website. If a product wasn’t “legal” we would not have it on here!
